Chengxi Shipbuilding (Yangzhou) entered continuous fast-paced production mode for 62000 DWT heavy lift vessels

Recently, CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding (Yangzhou) has made new progress for 62,000 DWT series of heavy lift vessels, such as steel cutting, launching and laying keel, fully entering a continuous fast-paced production mode.

62000DWT Heavy-Lift MPV is the world’s largest tonnage heavy lift multi-purpose vessel. This series of heavy lift vessels has an overall length of 199.90m, a beam of 32.26m, a depth of 19.30m with a design speed of 14.4KN.

This series of vessels are multifunctional for both cargo hold and deck loading, and the cargo hold has a multi-deck layered design. The port side is equipped with 4 sets of heavy lift cranes, and the maximum lifting capacity of the combined cranes reaches 300 tons.

The heavy lift has many advantages such as adapting to the diversity of cargoes, flexibility of operation, strong loading and unloading capacity, etc., which can provide customers with more efficient and high-quality transportation services, and it can navigate in the global sea area except the polar region.
