CIMC SOE launches third 7,200m3 LEG carrier for Hartmann

On May 18th, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd (CIMC SOE) successfully launched the third 7200m3 dual-fuel LEG carrier (S1065) built for the Hartmann Group of Germany.

This series of dual-fuel LEG carriers is custom-designed and built by CIMC SOE for Hartmann Group of Germany. Classed by DNV, the LEG carrier has an overall length of about 116 meters, a beam of 18 meters and a depth of 12.3 meters. The first LEG carrier S1063 was successfully delivered in April this year, and the S1065 launched this time is the third unit of this series.

Compared to conventional small LEG carriers, this series of dual-fuel LEG carriers are equipped with advanced MAN dual-fuel main engines, which not only meet the latest emission requirements, but also significantly reduce CO2 emissions during operation.
