On May 10th, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering (CIMC SOE) successfully delivered a 3,850m³ LNG bunker tank (T131).
The LNG tank delivered this time is the last of the series of 2 ship sets, which will be used for the 7000 CEU dual fuel PCTC project built by China Merchants Jinling Shipbuilding (Jiangsu)(CMJL).
Classed by DNV, it is an independent C-type binaural fuel tank with an overall length of about 46 meters, which is a super long tank.
It is understood that this series is the 3rd type of LNG tanks from the cooperation between CMJL and CIMC SOE since 2021. The 3,400m ³LNG tank undertaken by CIMC SOE is in orderly production, and the 2,000m ³LNG tank will be started in late May as planned.
