On May 10, the new-built 1600T jack-up deep-sea wind power installation platform ” Haiyang Feng Dian 91″ was successfully launched. on the same day, the same type of wind power installation platform “Zhenxin 1600” set sail for sea trials.
The “Haiyang Feng Dian 91” is designed by Marine Design and Research Institute of China (MARIC) and built by Jiangsu HTWG Heavy Industry, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Hantong Group. “Zhenxin 1600” is constructed by Nantong Zhenhua Heavy Equipment Manufacturing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (Group).
These two wind power installation platforms represent the latest wind power technology and the development trend of new quality productivity. The platforms is of fully welded steel hull, with a maximum operating water depth of 70 meters and a beam of 48 meters. They have DP2 class power positioning capability and the main crane has a lifting capacity of 1,600 tons with full electric drive.
This kind of wind power installation platform is independently researched and designed by MARIC, with completely independent intellectual property rights.
With high degree of informatization and automation, high localization rate of equipment, good safety of deep-sea construction operation, and full consideration of economy of operation and convenience of construction operation, this platform is the latest generation of offshore construction unit integrating transportation, self-propelled navigation, lifting, installation of power positioning and other multi-functions.
