On May 9, COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) named the fourth 14,100 TEU container vessel (N1068) built for COSCO Shipping Lines, the vessel was named “COSCO SHIPPING MEXICO”.
“COSCO SHIPPING MEXICO” is the fourth vessel in the series of six 14100TEU container vessels. It integrates the most cutting-edge technology concept and sailing experience, and has the advantages of advanced design, low-carbon environmental protection, economy and energy saving. The performance of its speed and fuel consumption have reached the world-class level, which makes it one of the most competitive ship types in the current container vessel market.
Among the container vessels of this series delivered by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Yangzhou), the first vessel “COSCO Shipping Brazil”, as one of the activities for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil, held its maiden voyage to Brazil at the Brazilian port of Paranagua in March this year. The port of San Antonio set a new local port record with a single-vessel pickup of 997 cases of cherry cargo at the port of San Antonio.
