COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) Delivers an 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier

On May 8, COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) delivered a 82,000 DWT bulk carrier “CL XINYU” built for China Development Bank Leasing. This is the fifth of the series bulk carriers delivered by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) to China Development Bank Leasing, and the four delivered new shipbuildings have excellent performance in operation, laying a solid foundation for CL XINYU’s maiden voyage.

It is understood that 82,000 DWT series bulk carriers are the main products of COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Yangzhou). On this basis, COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry has completed independent research and development and design of 82,500 DWT bulk carriers in accordance with the market demand, and has completed the batch order undertaking for the market. The design of this series of bulk carriers adheres to the concept of green environmental protection, optimizes the hull line shape, features strong adaptability and high transport economy.

The CL XINYU is one of a series of bulk carriers named after cities in Jiangxi and Hunan Provinces.
