On April 30th, Tongfang Jiangxin Shipbuilding Co.,Ltd (Jiangxin Shipbuilding) signed the construction contract for Zhoushan Port’s 700 gross tons harbor craft project in Zhoushan City.
The harbor craft has an overall length of about 65 meters, a beam of 9 meters, a depth of 4.5 meters and a design draft of 2.5 meters.
It is propelled by 4 engines and 4 propellers, with a maximum speed of not less than 26 knots and a range of 600 nautical miles.
The main hull of the craft is steel welded structure, and the deckhouse is aluminum welded structure.
With a crew of 60, it will be mainly used for official harbor and navigation business and traffic protection for important activities in Zhoushan waters.
