On April 12, COSCO SHIPPING Shipyard (Nantong) Co., Ltd. a subsidiary of COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, successfully held a delivery ceremony for Scarborough FPU Living Quarter.
Designed and built for Woodside Energy Group, the Scarborough FPU Living Quarters are classed by DNV and flying under Australian flag. It meets AMSA, ISO standards and the requirements of one-in-10,000-year environmental conditions and a 40-year fatigue design life.
The total length of the module is 53.2 meters, width 18.3 meters, height 17.85 meters and weight of the module is about 3,250 tons. The entire living area is equipped with 2-person and 3-person rooms for 75 people. The noise and vibration design complies with Norsok and NOPSEMA requirements for high occupancy comfort.
