SWS lays keel for two 7000TEU container ships

On April 9, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) held keel laying ceremony for H1570, a 7,000 TEU container ship built for Seaspan Corporstion (SEASPAN) of Canada and H1381 and a 7,000 TEU container ship built for Regional Container Lines of Thailand.

H1570 is the 9th unit in the series of 7000TEU container ships built by SWS for SEASPAN, which continues to be improved in quality and efficiency. At present, H1570 has sufficient reserve of blocks, and all subsequent critical path blocks are ready.

H1381 is the 3rd unit of 7000TEU built by SWS for Regional Container Lines, with further improvement in quality and efficiency. At present, all cabin segments of H1381 have been supplied, with sufficient blocks reserved and all subsequent critical path blocks have been prepared.
