Recently, HGTECH CO., LTD. (HGTECH) and Wuhu Shipyard Co., Ltd. cooperated to build the ” Cutting and Unloading Workshop Automation Production Line of Weihai Base” project. And the two sides will follow up the production line automation and logistics intelligence to carry out the cooperation.
The project innovatively researches and develops special processes such as process information analysis, inkjet scribing, bevel cutting, chamfering, and automatic logistics for semi-finished products in the shipbuilding industry, so as to implement comprehensive automation and integration of processes from parts analysis of nesting diagrams, inkjet scribing of steel plates, automatic cutting, automatic sorting, automatic beveling, automatic chamfering, and automatic logistics for cache palletizing in the production line.
Intelligent production line includes intelligent traveling vehicle, AGV, roller conveyor, leveling machine, cutting machine, robot beveling machine, visual sorting, automatic loading and unloading device, etc. and dust removal device and collection device for cutting waste disposal, etc., which are necessary to meet environmental protection requirements.
The project is laid out for the block manufacturing characteristics of the shipbuilding industry and is applicable to the production and processing of various types of ships, such as bulk carriers, MR tankers and PCTCs.
On August 5 last year, the Wuhu Shipyard Weihai Green Marine Technology Industrial Base project was formally signed and landed. At the signing ceremony, the project service work team was synchronously established and held the first working meeting.
Wuhu Shipyard is the largest shipbuilding enterprise in Anhui Province, with strong development momentum in recent years. Its liquid cargo ship products have been selected in the global top ten ship list and enjoy a high reputation in domestic and international markets. The total investment of Wuhu Shipyard Weihai Green Marine Technology Industrial Base project is about 2 billion yuan, and it is expected to create an annual output value of 5 billion yuan after put into operation.
The Wuhu Shipyard project will promote more high-end ships and offshore equipment, automobile supporting and other industrial resources to form industrial agglomeration, grow the offshore equipment industry and achieve double harvest of economic and social benefits.
According to the plan, Wuhu Shipyard Weihai Green Marine Technology Industrial Base project will cover 600 acres of land and 30,000 square meters of plant resources, relying on the advantages of Chery Group’s automobile exports and Wuhu Shipyard’s hand-held orders for urgent production needs, and will build 7,000 CEU PCTCS, 80,000 DWT Panamax bulk carriers and other leading products in Weihai in batch.
