On April 3rd, New Times Shipbuilding held a steel cutting ceremony to marking the start of construction of the 79# and 80# 157,000 dwt tankers.
The tanker measures 274.3 meters in overall length, 269.9 meters between two columns, 48 meters in beam, 23.2 meters in depth with 172,000 m3 capacity and 156,600 MT deadweight under draft.
The Greek shipowner Polembros Shipping Limited has ordered three 157,000 dwt tankers from New Times Shipbuilding in total.
