Since the first quarter of 2024, Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), has completed and delivered 5 new shipbuildings, completed 39 repaired ships, and successfully delivered 44 sets of wind towers. And it undertook 12 new shipbuilding projects and 49 ship repairing projects, and has successfully signed wind tower manufacturing contracts with Enercon and Goldwind. Thus, Chengxi Shipyard’s business undertakings and production output value have exceeded the target of the first quarter, and achieved a significant increase year-on-year.
Chengxi Shipyard accomplished 100% delivery rate on schedule. At the same time, Chengxi Shipyard also successfully achieved the successful loading of the general section of the deep-sea green intelligent test vessel, pushing forward the construction projects according to the plan.
In terms of scientific and technological innovation, Chengxi Shipyard won two scientific and technological achievement awards.
In addition, by strengthening product quality control, Chengxi Shipyard achieved the whole process, full coverage and full assessment of cost engineering in the first quarter.
