Sumec marine Renews Construction Contract for 4 Crown 63 PLUS Bulk Carriers with Turkish Owner

On March 28, New Dayang Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Sumec marine Co., Ltd., renewed the construction contract for four Crown 63 PLUS bulk carriers with Turkish owner CINER BULKERS.

It is reported that Turkey CINER is an important customer of Sumec marine, which is not only strong but also very loyal. As early as 2012, CINER BULKERS ordered seven 1.0 version Crown 63 series bulk carriers from the former Dayang Shipbuilding. After the establishment of New Dayang Shipbuilding, the ship owner renewed the order for four more Crown 63 PLUS bulk carriers of version 3.0 in September 2021. Together with this four Crown 63 PLUS bulk carriers renewed, the 15 ULTRAMAX built for the company so far are all Crown 63 series bulk carriers built by New Dayang Shipbuilding.

Up to now, New Dayang Shipbuilding has delivered a total of 109 bulk carriers of Crown 63 series. Fifteen of them are 3.0 version of the Crown 63 PLUS bulk carriers. With the latest orders, New Dayang has Crown 63 PLUS 57 bulk carriers on hand with owners all over the world. New Dayang Shipbuilding has become one of the preferred shipyards for world shipowners to order ULTRAMAX in China by the excellent design of its Crown 63 bulk carriers and its wide global reputation.
