Turnkey project of China’s second domestically large cruise ship is in full swing

Recently, the Turnkey project of China’s second domestically large cruise ship H1509 has been fully started.

After the delivery of the China’s first domestically large cruise ship, the cruise project team of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) and package manager teams organized all the related parties to carry out Lesson & Learn to form a series of Turnkey package summaries, summarizing the first large cruise ship experience from design, procurement, warehousing, construction and commissioning in all aspects, optimizing the Turnkey management system, and discussing how to improve it on the H1509 project.

For the automation system project, required a good job of manpower arrangement, complete the related work according to the plan. For the plastic pipe and air duct project, required a good coordination of materials in the stage of subsection, general section and dockyard, combined with the requirements of the plan for decomposition and refinement.

With gradual clarification of the production plan of second domestically large cruise ship, the cruise project team organizes all departments and package teams to upgrade the H1509 outfitting Turnkey three-level plan, which will guide the follow-up work of each package and promote the effective advancement of the work.

Meanwhile, the cruise project team will continue to optimize the plan management of the second cruise ship on the basis of the first cruise ship, continue to deepen the compilation and review of the monthly plan, and insist on the turnkey management platform, P6 and other information-based plan management means to pay attention to the progress of production and correct the deviation in a timely manner, so as to ensure the effective guiding effect of the plan.

At present, the work of each engineering work package (EWP) of the second large cruise ship is progressing smoothly. The relevant team will pay full attention to the design progress, arrival progress, production progress, manpower investment and other key factors, focusing on the completeness of each EWP’s sub-assemblies and the pre-docking outfitting work, so as to ensure the successful completion of the cruise ship production target for the year 2024.
