CIMC Raffles successfully launched a 1,500-ton self-propelled jack-up wind power installation platform

On March 28, CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd (CIMC Raffles) successfully launched the 1,500-ton self-propelled jack-up wind power installation platform “Huaxia Honghu 01”, which was ordered by Huaxia Financial Leasing Co., Ltd.

“Huaxia Honghu 01” is the third wind power installation platform invested by Huaxia Financial Leasing. It measures 139m in length, 50m in breadth, 10m in depth with deck loading of 8,000 tons. The wind power installation platform is equipped with 1,500 tons (operating radius 45 meters) full-circle slewing crane at the stern, with DP2 class power positioning system.
The four pile legs are 120 meters long, the maximum operating water depth is 70 meters and it can navigate in unlimited navigation area.

After delivery, the wind power installation platform is mainly used for offshore 15MW and above unit equipment installation, as well as offshore wind power foundation construction, which is one of the strongest ships in China’s wind power lifting operation capacity, the wind power installation platform delivery will further enhance China’s deep-sea wind power construction capacity.

In recent years, Huaxia Financial Leasing has taken offshore wind power as the key development direction of green leasing, and has invested in the construction of offshore wind power industry chain vessels, such as wind power installation vessels, lifting vessels and cable laying vessels. The 2 wind power installation platforms previously taken over for operation have been involved in the construction of a number of offshore wind farms in China, including the completion of the installation of the largest 16MW offshore wind turbine in China at present.
