New Times Shipbuilding Christened 47#50,000 dwt Class II Chemical tanker

On March 26, New Times Shipbuilding held a naming ceremony for 47#50,000 dwt Class II chemical tanker built for the British shipowner Navig8. It was named “NAVIG8 EXCEED”.

It is reported that New Times Shipbuilding and shipowner Navig8 have been cooperating since 2016, and New Times Shipbuilding has previously delivered 21 vessels to Navig8, and this naming is the 22nd vessel, which will also be delivered soon. Meanwhile, Navig8 has four more vessels under construction at New Times Shipbuilding.

“NAVIG8 EXCEED” has an overall length of 183.24 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, a depth of 19.1 meters, a design draught of 11 meters, a structural draught of 13.3 meters with a deadweight of 50,000 tons, and is classed by KR. It is the second vessel among six 50,000 dwt Class II chemical tankers ordered by Navig8, and will be delivered to the owner for operation on 28th.
