Wang Zheng Promoted to Deputy General Manager and Member of the Party Group of CSSC

Recently, according to the updated news on the official website of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), Wang Zheng was appointed as deputy general manager and member of the party group of CSSC.

Resume of Wang Zheng:

Wang Zheng was born in Luoyang, Henan Province in September 1974 and is a member of CPC. Graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University, majoring in Weapon System and Application Engineering in April 2000, Wang Zheng is a full-time postgraduate degree holder, Master of Engineering degree holder, and a senior engineer.

In April 2000, after graduated, Wang Zheng worked in the Department of Ship Systems Engineering, and served as the assistant director of the department’s operation and planning department, deputy director of the comprehensive office, deputy director of the comprehensive department of the Military Engineering Department of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), deputy director of the second department of the model engineering and deputy director of the office of the major special projects.

In November 2016, he became Director of the Office of Major Special Projects of CSIC.

In November 2019 he served as Deputy Director of the Military Industry Department of CSSC.

In April 2020, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Marine Design & Research Institute of China (MARIC).

In April 2021, he served as Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the MARIC.

In August 2023, he served as Director of the Human Resources Department/Organization and Personnel Department of CSSC, as well as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee directly under the group company.

In March 2024, he served as Deputy General Manager and Member of the Party Group of CSSC.
