On March 21st, Zhao Yan, Vice President of China Classification Society (CCS), led a team to visit China Merchants Heavy Industries Haimen shipyard (CMHI Haimen shipyard) and issued the first Certificate of Conformity for Intelligent Manufacturing Maturity Model of Shipyards.
The two sides started a discussion and exchange on the application of digital technology and intelligent manufacturing of ships, and reached a consensus on further strengthening the cooperation. At the forum, CCS issued the first Certificate of Conformity for Intelligent Manufacturing Maturity Model of Shipyards for CMHI Haimen shipyard.
The general manager of CMHI Haimen shipyard said that the company has been committed to digital transformation, and clearly takes intelligent manufacturing as an important development direction of the company’s new quality productivity. It is hoped that through further in-depth cooperation with CCS, the company will promote the comprehensive and in-depth integration of digital technology and shipbuilding, and accelerate the development level of ship intelligent manufacturing CMHI Haimen shipyard.
The issuance of this certificate is a full affirmation of the actual production capacity of intelligent manufacturing of CMHI Haimen shipyard, marking the milestone achievement in the digitalization and intelligentization construction of the company.
