NACKS names an 82,000 dwt bulk carrier

On March 22, Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co, Ltd.(NACKS), the first large-scale Sino-foreign joint venture shipbuilding enterprise in China established by COSCO Shipping Group (COSCO Shipping) and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (KHI), held a naming ceremony for an 82,000 dwt bulk carrier.

NACKS said that “Beibu Wan – Li Jiang”, as the third in a series of four new 82,000 dwt bulk carriers built by the shipyard, carries the common expectations and trust of all parties.

It is not only the 13th new 82,000 dwt bulk carriers built by NACKS and Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co Ltd.(DACKS) for PBGC and Beigang Shipping in the past five years, but also another important milestone in the course of cooperation between the three parties.

It is not only the 13th new vessel that Nantong and Dalian COSCO Maritime Kawasaki have built together for SPDB Finacial Leasing and Beigang Shipping over the past five years, but also another important milestone in the course of the cooperation between the three parties.

“Beibu Wan – Li Jiang” will be officially delivered to the owner on March 28th, starting its new journey of sea logistics.
