On March 19th, Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bestway Marine&Energy Technology, held a Steel Cutting Ceremony for the “1000t Full-circle Slewing Crane Vessel Construction Project (DJHC8092)”, which is constructed for China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Co. and CRRC Finacial Leasing Co., Ltd.
The project is invested by China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group and CRRC Finacial Leasing, elaborately designed by Marine Design & Research Institute of China (MARIC) and constructed by the consortium of of Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry and Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant Co., Ltd.
It is understood that the construction contract of 1000t full-circle slewing crane vessel was signed on December 27, 2023. It is a non-self-propelled crane vessel, designed with an overall length of 130 meters, a beam of 37.2 meters and a depth of 8.8 meters with a steel, fully electrically welded and monocoque structure, classed by CCS and under the Chinese flag.
After completed，1000t full-circle slewing crane vessel is mainly used for the installation of prefabricated structural components of bridges such as steel box girder lifting, concrete box girder lifting, steel cofferdam installation and other bridge construction operations such as steel pipe pile insertion and driving.
