CSSC Chengxi Shipyard welcomes two major shipbuilding nodes

On March 16th, China State Shipbuilding Group’s Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd. (CSSC Chengxi Shipyard) launched and Keel laid for 63500 DWT bulk carriers in the same series respectively.

On the morning of March 16, the sixth 63,500 dwt bulk carrier built by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard for Huaxia Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. was successfully launched, which is the second ship launched by the headquarters of the shipyard this year.

In the morning of the same day, the first segment of the Seventh 63,500 dwt bulk carrier of CSSC Chengxi Shipyard was Keel laid.

The 63,500 dwt bulk carrier series is the upgraded version of “Dolphin” 64,000 dwt bulk carrier, which has been further optimized in terms of structure and line shape.

The speed and wave resistance have been significantly improved, and it meets the third stage standard of ship energy efficiency index.

Also, it is equipped with vortex eliminating fins and front guide wheel energy saving device, which has lower fuel consumption and is more energy saving and environmental friendly.
