CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding launched a ro-ro cargo ship

On March 12, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Guangxi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. successfully launched a 109m ro-ro cargo ship, marking taht the first and largest ro-ro cargo ship under construction by CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding was formally entered the stage of quay outfitting and mooring test.

The ro-ro cargo ship measures 109 meters in overall length, 22.2 meters in breadth, 6.2 meters in depth and 4.5 meters in design draft. Classed by CCS, it is driven by twin diesel engines and equipped with twin propellers and twin rudders.

After delivery, this new ro-ro ship mainly sails between the islands of Indonesia and serves for loading automobiles and other non-embargoed cargoes, with a capacity of not less than 800 automobiles per voyage.

It is understood that this ro-ro ship is scheduled for delivery in June this year.
