Recently, Sainty Shipbuilding Yangzhou Corporation Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for the 8,000-ton lifting floating dock.
The total length of the floating dock is 161.88 meters, the width between the outer dock walls is 47 meters, and the width between the inner dock walls is 40 meters.
This floating dock features 4 floating tanks and 16 ballast tanks, and equipped with 2 sets of 20T cranes. It is classified by China Classification Society (CCS) and mainly serves the maintenance and repair of Yifeng Shipping’s overseas construction vessels.
Established in September 2004, Sainty Shipbuilding Yangzhou Corporation Ltd. is a joint venture shipbuilding enterprise held by Jiangsu Sainty Corp., Ltd. , is located in the Economic Development Zone along the Yangtze River in the southeast of Yizheng, Jiangsu Province.
The shipbuilding enterprise covers an area of about 1,050 acres and a shoreline length of 930 meters, with 1 dock, 1 slipway, 2 outfitting wharves, and two 500-ton door cranes. The main products are bulk carriers, container ships, heavy lift vessels, multi-purpose vessels and offshore vessels of less than 100,000 tons.
