On March 9th, Shanghai Blue Dream Cruises’ “Blue Dream Melody” arrived at COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) Co.,Ltd., and is about to start a comprehensive renovation and upgrading project.
It is understood that the gross tonnage of “Blue Dream Melody” cruise ship is 42,300 tons , formerly known as Aida Cruises “Vita” (AIDA Vita), built by the German Lloyd Werft shipyard, and its maximum capacity of 1,582 passengers.
The main renovation work is the overall refurbishment and upgrading of the cruise ship, in order to further meet the expectations of Chinese tourists for the maritime vacation lifestyle.
