New Times Shipbuilding kicks off three vessels in parallel

On February 29, New Times Shipbuilding held a groundbreaking ceremony for 54#50,000 dwt industrial chemical tanker, 45#115,000 dwt product tanker and 50#113,500 dwt oil tanker to celebrate the construction of three vessels on the same day.

It is understood that the owner of 54#50,000 dwt chemical tanker is Singapore EPS. EPS has ordered 6 chemical tankers of this series, and 54#50,000 dwt chemical tanker is the first one. Measuring 183.24m in length, 32m in width, 19.1m in depth, 11m in design draft and 13.3m in structural draft, the tanker has a capacity of 53,800CBM and 49,450 deadweight tons.

The owner of the 45# 115,000mt product tanker is Capital of Greece. There are two vessels in the series, and this is the second one. Capital also ordered six 155,500 dwt LNG dual-fuel crude oil tankers and two 112,500 dwt LNG dual-fuel product tankers. The 115,000 dwt product tanker has a length of 249.90m, a beam of 44m, a depth of 21.5m, a design draught of 13.6m, a structural draught of 15.2m, a capacity of 130,000 CBM and a deadweight of 115,800 tons.

The owner of 50#113500 dwt tanker is Dynacom of Greece, there are two vessels in the series, and this is the first one. The Dynacom has also ordered six 73,500 dwt product/crude oil tankers, four VLCCs and ten 159,000 dwt crude oil tankers from New Times Shipbuilding.The 113,500 dwt tanker has a length of 249.9m, a beam of 44m, a depth of 21.5m, a design draught of 13.6m, and a structural draught of 15.2m, a capacity of 130,950CBM, and a deadweight of 113,500 tons.
