On February 22, the fishery research vessel built by Jiangxi Jiangxin Shipbuilding under Jiangxi Military Industrial Group for Dalian Bangchui Island Seafood Co. successfully hits the water.
The fishery research vessel, “LiaoDa JinyuYang 98001” has an overall length of 50 meters, a beam of 7.8 meters, a depth of 3.98 meters, a design draught of 2.38 meters, featuers a deep V-shape and a fully welded structure. The vessel is propelled by twin engines, twin propellers, twin rudders and diesel engines, with side thrusters at the bow. It has an endurance of 1,000 nautical miles, a self-sustainability of 10 days, a crew of 30 and sails in offshore navigation area.
It is understood that “LiaoDa JinyuYang 98001” will be mainly engaged in the work of seed preservation and breeding at sea base, scientific research of seed industry, teaching internship, inspection and care, scientific investigation, etc., which will further enhance the comprehensive strength of scientific research and production of China’s sea cucumber original seed farms.
