Lianyungang Shenghua Shipyard successfully delivered a 6,200-dwt dual-fuel oil tanker

Lianyungang Shenghua Shipyard successfully delivered a 6,200-dwt dual-fuel oil tanker – MV “ARUNDINA” to Singapore SINGFAR on February 4, 2024.

It is reported that this type of double-engine and double-propeller tanker is specially designed to meet the requirements of Singapore port area and the 30 nautical miles area outside the port area.

MV “ARUNDINA” is in RINA class, and at present has successfully arrived in Singapore and commenced operations. The 6,200 dwt tanker is capable of ballast-free operation and can accommodate high-intensity bunkering duties in the port of Singapore, as well as transportation of refined oil products over short to medium distances.

To meet increasingly strict environmental requirements, MV “ARUNDINA” can also run on LNG fuel and the main engine can run on B100 biodiesel, effectively reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

MV “ARUNDINA” is in RINA class, and at present has successfully arrived in Singapore and commenced operations.
