Recently, Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. (ROC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Rainbow Heavy Industries Co., Ltd, successfully delivered 2 sets of LNG stainless steel fuel tanks.
This project is for the Matson MV MANUKALNG Repower Conversion service of Matson, Inc. The tank is made of 304 stainless steel, classified by American Bureau of Shipping(ABS). It measures 11.2 meters in diameter and 24.72 meters in length, with a minimum design temperature of -165°C and a design pressure of 5.6 bar. The projects need to meet ABS, ASME, IGF, USCG and other specifications.
It is reported that ROC is one of the few enterprises in China that holds the construction technology of C-type LNG cryogenic liquid tanks made of both nine nickel and stainless steel.
