COSCO SHIPPING (Qidong) Offshore held a keel laying ceremony for AFT Hull of N1151 P-82 FPSO

On February 18th, COSCO SHIPPING (Qidong) Offshore Co., Ltd. held a keel laying ceremony for AFT Hull of N1151 P-82 FPSO.

The P-82 FPSO is the largest FPSO project to date, with an overall length of 360 meters, a beam of 60 meters, a depth of 34.3 meters, and a gross hull weight of more than 80,000 tons of steel structure. The FPSO project is designed to store 1.6 million barrels of oil and has a capacity of up to 225,000 barrels of oil per day as well as 12 million cbm of natural gas.

The FPSO will be connected to 16 wells (9 oil producing wells and 7 reinjection wells), equipped with carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) technology and adopting dispersal moorings.

It is reported that the hull of the FPSO was started on March 31, 2023, and the bow section part started to be loaded on December 30, 2023.
