On 4th February 2024, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd. and CSSC Power (Group) Corporation Limited (CPGC) signed a contract for methanol dual-fuel main engines for 85,000 DWT bulk carriers.
It is reported that the two companies have been cooperating for more than 30 years, covering a full range of multi-dimensional aspects such as marine main engine, main generator sets, emergency generator sets and green business.
The two sides will work together to achieve supply chain autonomy and control. CPGC will actively integrate into the ship type development and design optimisation of Chengxi Shipyard’s ship models and provide system solutions to enhance the competitiveness of ships.
