On January 25th, Sanfu Heavy Industries held a signing and delivery ceremony for a 12,500DWT multi-purpose vessel(MPV) built for a German shipowner, marking the perfect completion of the project.
The MPV has an overall length of 147.00m, an inter-drape length of 140.00m, a beam of 22.80m, a depth of 11.55m, a design draught of 7.50m, a maximum deadweight of 12,410 tons, a design speed of 15 knots, and has been admitted to the LR.
Meanwhile, the ship type of this project is designed with hatchless cargo hold to meet the demand of loading super high cargo, which can load oversized cranes, statues and steel structures. A ship performance monitoring system is installed to achieve an optimized solution for ship fuel consumption and sailing speed fuel loss by recording fuel consumption and making timely improvements and adjustments.
After the completion of this project, Sanfu Shipbuilding will continue to build a new type of 11,000 DWT MPV for the German shipowner, which was jointly developed by both parties.
