New Times Shipbuilding Sets Delivery Record

On January 25, New Times Shipbuilding delivered 2#13,000 TEU container ship. So far, New Times Shipbuilding completed and delivered 7 ships with 1.08 million deadweight tons in this month, which set a new record of the highest number of ships and deadweight tons delivered in a month.

It is reported that the 2#13,000 TEU container ship has an overall length of 335 meters, a length of 325 meters between two columns, a beam of 51 meters, a depth of 27.3 meters, a design draught of 13 meters, a structural draught of 16 meters, an air height (above the datum line) of less than 65 meters, and a deadweight tonnage of 139,550 tons (under structural draught). The Greek owner Chartworld Shipping Company ordered two 13,000 TEU container ships from New Times Shipbuilding, and this delivery is the second one.

Since 2024, New Times Shipbuilding has delivered seven ships in a row: on the morning of 5th, 48#210,000 DWT dual-fuel-powered bulk carrier was successfully delivered; on the afternoon of 5th, 39#210,000 DWT dual-fuel-powered bulk carrier was successfully delivered; on the afternoon of 8th, 40#210,000 DWT dual-fuel-powered bulk carrier was successfully delivered; on the afternoon of 11th, 41#210,000 DWT dual-fuel-powered bulk carrier was successfully delivered; On the morning of 15th, 35#50,000 DWT Class II chemical tanker was successfully delivered; on the morning of 24th, 46#50,000 DWT Class II chemical tanker was successfully delivered; at noon of 25th, 2#13,000 TEU container ship was successfully delivered.

In 2024, New Times Shipbuilding plans to deliver 31 ships, totaling 3,905,500 DWT, in the whole year.
