On January 26, Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Ship Industry Co., Ltd. (Jinglu Shipyard) held a delivery and naming ceremony for the second 1,400 TEU container ship “Ningyuan Yonghe”, which was built for Ningbo Ocean Shipping Co.
“Ningyuan Yonghe” is the second ship among the 1400TEU containers built for Ningbo Ocean Shipping. With an overall length of 159.5m, a beam of 25.0m, a depth of 13.5m, the ship has a design draught of 9.0m, a sailing speed of 14kn, a total number of 1,438 containers, and is classed by CCS.
It is a domestic trade container ship with high safety, applicability, economy and comfort. With the advantages of advanced design, low carbon and environmental protection, economy and energy saving, the container ship has reached the first-class level in terms of its speed, fuel consumption and other performances, and is one of the most competitive ship types in the container ship market.
In addition, this ship is equipped with the most advanced shore-sea integrated intelligent ship management system (DCM), which combines data integration and application integration throughout the ship.
