On January 25th, Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.(HT) successfully delivered a 82,000 DWT bulk carrier “BALBOA” (Hull No.: HT82-274), to the Germany OLDENDORFF.
HT82-274 is the 10th ship in the series and the 29th ship delivered by HT to OLDENDORFF, which is classed by LR.
With an overall length of 229 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 20.35 meters, a design draft of 12.2 meters and a design speed of 14.0 knots, BALBOA has a number of advantages such as low fuel consumption, green environmental protection, strong adaptability, energy saving and high efficiency, etc., making it a mainstream bulk carrier in the shipping market.
