On January 22, the third 210,000 DWT LNG dual-fuel bulk carrier built by CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for South Korea’s H-Line Company was named and delivered, and the new vessel named “HL TRUST”.
“HL TRUST” is designed by China Ship Design & Research Center Co., Ltd. The bulk carrier has an overall length of 299.95 meters, a beam of 50 meters, a depth of 25.2 meters, a service speed of 14.0 knots, and is classed by DNV and KR. It has pass the sea trial verification, the speed, fuel consumption, EEDI and other indicators all meet the requirements and reach the international advanced level.
It is understood that in 2021, Beihai Shipbuilding signed a construction contract with South Korea’s H-Line for three 210,000 DWT LNG dual-fuel Newcastlemax bulk carriers, and the “HL TRUST” is the third ship of the batch.
