Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI) delivered a newbuild LNG carrier “Energy Endurance”

On January 23rd, 2024, the LNG carrier “Energy Endurance” (174,000m3), built by South Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI), Korea, was delivered to Greek ship management company Alpha Gas.

This LNG carrier was launched on July 26, 2023. It is the second XDF LNG carrier to join the company’s fleet, from a series of three to be delivered by HSHI within 2023-2024.

The first LNG carrier “Energy Fidelity”, was delivered in April 2023. The LNG carrier is also equipped with a high-capacity and high-efficiency re-liquefaction unit, an air lubrication system (ALS), a twin-shaft generator (PTO) and an air resistance shield.

The third vessel in this series, Energy Fortitude, was launched on July 26, 2023. It is slated for delivery in the first quarter of 2024.

With the latest delivery, Alpha Gas now operates a fleet of seven LNG carriers. The units feature different engines, including TFDE, MEGI, and XDF.
