George Procopiou ordered six product tankers from New Times Shipbuilding

Dynacom Tankers, a tanker company owned by Greek shipowner George Procopiou, has placed an order for six 75,000 dwt product tankers at New Times Shipbuilding.

In addition, Dynacom Tankers also placed an order for two 75,000 dwt product tankers at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding in November last year, with a unit price of about $53 million, and scheduled for delivery starting in 2026.

The new tankers undertaken by New Times Shipbuilding are said to be conventionally fueled and equipped with desulfurization units, which are scheduled to be delivered between 2026 and 2027.

According to statistics, George Procopiou has recently ordered 30 new ships in China with a total price tag of $2 billion.
