Wison Offshore & Marine changes its name to Wison New Energies

According to Wison New Energies’ public website, Wison Offshore & Marine will start a new chapter under the new company name of Wison New Energies Co. and will be firmly committed to continuing to provide low-carbon technologies and solutions globally.

The new company name reflects Wison New Energies’ core vision of energy challenges and how to address them. As an emerging leader in providing energy and technology solutions, Wison has focused on clean and sustainable energy from its inception to power a safer and healthier world.

As the world moves towards reducing the carbon footprint, achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 will remain a daunting challenge, but Wison is not afraid to take on the challenge. With a passion for creating a greener world and deep expertise, Wison New Energies is committed to continuously creating low-carbon solutions that are more applicable to the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s world.

On December 6, 2023, the Floating Green Methanol Plant (FGMP) solution developed by Wison Offshore & Marine was granted Approval-in-Principle (AiP) by BV. This important milestone marks the recognition of the technical feasibility of Wison Offshore & Marine’s clean energy solution, and prepares the technology for commercialization and industrialization.

The FGMP is a floating plant that produces green methanol from renewable energy sources, utilizing renewable energy sources (e.g. wind power, photovoltaic power, hydropower, etc.) to electrolyze water to produce green hydrogen.
