Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard Delivers 3,100 TEU Container Vessel “LOG-IN EVOLUTION

On January 5, the first 3,100 TEU container ship CHB2019 built by Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard for Brazilian shipowner LOG-IN was delivered on schedule, and the ship was named “LOG-IN EVOLUTION”.

The order consists of two 3,100 TEU container ships, with a length of 193.5 meters, a breadth of 35.2 meters and a depth of 17.9 meters, classed by DNV. The number of heavy containers, deadweight tons and fuel consumption of the vessels are all better than those of the same type of vessels, accordingly improving the economy and competitiveness of the vessels.

It is understood that Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard successfully delivered a total of 10 ships in 2023. In 2024, the shipyard has 47 orders in hand, and the production node is intensive. The construction of 2,500 TEU, 3,100 TEU, 5,300 TEU, 11,500 TEU and 10,300 TEU series of containerships, LR2 and MR tankers is progressing steadily.
