On January 2, the third 63,500 dwt bulk carrier “OCEAN DILIGENCE” built by CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding for Huaxia Financial Leasing, was delivered ahead of schedule.
The vessel is the third one among the eight 63,500 dwt bulk carriers built by CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding for Huaxia Financial Leasing. The ship has an overall length of 199.9m, a beam of 32.26m, a depth of 18.9m, a design draught of 13.5m, and a service speed of 13.5 knots.
The 63,500 dwt bulk carrier series is the upgraded version of “Dolphin” 64,000 dwt bulk carrier, which has been further optimized in terms of structure and line shape, and the ship’s rapidity and wave resistance have been significantly improved to meet the third stage of the Ship Energy Efficiency Index standard. Equipped with vortex eliminating fins and front guide wheel energy saving device, the vessel has lower fuel consumption and is more energy saving and environmentally friendly.
