Yu Chai Marine Power Successfully Delivered the World’s First 7X62DF-2.1 Dual-Fuel Main Engine Equipped with iCER-Diesel

Recently, Yu Chai Marine Power successfully delivered the world’s first 7X62DF-2.1 dual-fuel main engine equipped with iCER-Diesel, and completed the production and delivery of 620mm large-bore low-speed marine engine for the first time.

Classified by DNV, the main engine is designed for a maximum output of 22,698 hp and is equipped with WinGD’s latest-generation Intelligent Controlled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (iCER) system. Whether running in diesel or gas mode, the main engine meets the requirements of Tier III, the most stringent NOx emission regulation of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). It will be installed on a 7,000 CEU car carrier to be built by Wuhu Shipyard for Chery Holdings Group.

The successful delivery of 7X62DF-2.1 dual-fuel main engine is another manifestation of the reliable manufacturing technology and high standard quality requirements of Yu Chai Marine Power’s dual fuel marine low speed engine.
