China’s First Domestic Large-Scale Cruise Ship Adora Magic City Officially Sets Sail

On January 1, 2024, AIDA Cruises Ltd.’s first domestic large-scale cruise ship “AIDA Magic City” officially set sail from Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port and started its commercial operation.

It is reported that AIDA Magic City has successfully completed two trial operations. A full range of tests and adjustments have been made to the cruise ship’s maritime performance, safe navigation, ship-shore linkage, business model, service process, customer experience and other aspects.

With a length of 323.6 meters and a gross tonnage of 135,500 tons, AIDA Magic City has 2,125 luxury staterooms and suites and can accommodate 5,246 guests at full capacity.

Blending the aesthetics of the East and the West, and integrating diversified ingenuity and innovative concepts, AIDA Magic City is dedicated to creating new scenarios on the sea, such as gourmet food, immersive entertainment, trendy shopping and creative space.

Guests can enjoy global delicacies, spectacular performances and shopping for global goodies. They can also enjoy an immersive experience in the first-ever Industrial Art Café space.

It is understood that the voyage consists of 7 days and 6 nights via Jeju, South Korea, Fukuoka and Nagasaki, Japan.
