Zhejiang Mingfei Shipbuilding secured a large order at the end of the year

Recently, Zhejiang Mingfei Shipbuilding signed an order for the construction of 12 ships with European shipowner, with a total order price of EUR 100 million.

It is understood that Ming Shipbuilding is a private ship repairing and building enterprise, founded in October 2020, located in Puba Gang Town, Sanmen County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province.

The shipbuilding area of Mingfei Shipyard was formally put into operation in July 2021, and the ship repair area was formally put into operation in June 2022.

The ship repair base covers an area of 60,000 square meters, including a ship repair slipway with a width of 25 meters and a length of 450 meters, with an annual ship repair capacity of 300,000 deadweight tonnage.

Since 2023, Mingfei Shipbuilding has finalized the launching of 7 new vessels, with 1 energy-saving bulk carrier of 59,900DWT under construction, and the remaining 6 vessels are chemical tankers and product oil tankers, and the shipbuilding has gradually shifted to the aspect of high-tech and high value-addedness.

In May, the 7,690DWT “Yongwanda 7” tanker built for Zhejiang Gaoyu Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd. was launched; in September, the 8,200DWT “Jiatai 899” tanker was launched; at the end of November, the 7,680DWT “Guoyang 27” tanker built for Zhejiang Guoyang Marine Transportation Co. was launched.

It is reported that as of now there are still 7 ships under construction on the platform of Mingfei Shipbuilding, with 23 ships on hand order, and the construction cycle has been scheduled until 2026.
