Recently, two self-erecting and self-propelled multifunctional construction platforms, which equipped with Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd. (Weichai) 16M33 high-end marine power were delivered to customers, marking Weichai’s formal entry into the high-end offshore vessel market.
Four sets of 1300kW Weichai 16M33 marine power provide efficient and reliable “power source” for the platform.
The engine is capable of adding 100% of the rated load at one time, which is especially suitable for the working conditions of the construction vessel market where the load changes frequently. Meanwhile, it adopts electronically-controlled common rail technology and high-efficiency combustion technology, which makes the fuel injection control more accurate. The fuel consumption under rated working condition is ≤ 198g/kW-h, and the emission index reaches China’s Stage II emission requirement, which is powerful, energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and provides customers with high-quality experience.
