On December 5, Chengxi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), Focused display its green and low-carbon ship types such as 82,600 DWT bulk carriers, 50,000 DWT MR tankers, 37,000 DWT asphalt carriers, and 62,000 DWT heavy lift multi-purpose carriers, etc., at the Marintec China 2023 exhibition.
During the exhibition, CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding, together with CSTC and ICBC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. signed a contract for the construction of four 82,600 DWT bulk carriers.
It is reported that this type of ship is independently researched and developed by CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding, and all the performance indexes are in the leading position in the international arena, with the characteristics of green environmental protection, excellent performance, large cargo capacity, strong adaptability, etc.And it meets the Tier Ⅲ and EEDI Ⅲ emission standards of the International Maritime Organization.
