New Dayang Shipbuilding Delivered 75 Ships in 5 Years, Reorganizing and Starting Again

On November 20, Sumec New Dayang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Sumec marine Co., Ltd. held a high-quality development conference.


It is understood that the Sumec New Dayang Shipbuilding was formerly known as Yangzhou Dayang Shipbuilding Co. In 2018, Sumec marine successfully reorganized the new Dayang Shipbuilding to promote nirvana rebirth. After the development of 5 years, Sumec New Dayang Shipbuilding has delivered 75 ships and holds orders for 59 ships currently. Among them, Crown 63 3.0 version is 53 ships, leading in the global segment market share and the series of 950-case container ships for the world’s first small feeder methanol dual-fuel container ships. In addition, for the green environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction industry trends, new Dayang Shipbuilding is also actively building a green brand.

On the scene of the event, Sumec marine and New Dayang Shipbuilding and Minmetals Development and ICBC Leasing held a project signing ceremony.

Sumec marine, New Dayang Shipbuilding and CZB Financial Leasing Co. signed a new shipbuilding contract.

On that day, New Dayang Shipbuilding also held a naming ceremony for a Crown 63 3.0 version bulk carrier built for China Development Bank Leasing.
