The US-listed company,Navios Maritime Partners said in its third-quarter earnings on Thursday that it has agreed to spend $64.55m each for a quartet of 115,000-dwt, scrubber-fitted, aframax/LR2 tankers. The price includes $3.3m per ship on additional, latest fuel-efficiency features.
The vessels will be delivered in the first half of 2026 and the first half of 2027.
The vessels will be equipped with scrubbing units, designed with the latest technology to optimize efficiency, and will carry crude oil and cleaning products, Navios Partners said.
