On April 28, 2025, a steel cutting ceremony for the 15#11000DWT multi-purpose vessel built by Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding for a German shipowner was held in the steel processing workshop. Representatives of the shipowner, LR and Sanfu Shipbuilding attended the ceremony.
Classed by LR, the vessel has an overall length of 149.95 meters, a beam of 23.20 meters, a depth of 10.5 meters, a design draft of 8.50 meters and a speed of 15.5 knots.
The 11000DWT multi-purpose series vessels is the key project of Sanfu Shipbuilding in 2025.
According to statistics, in April, Sanfu Shipbuilding completed four major milestones, including the starting construction of one vessel, the launching of one vessel, the sea trial of one vessel and the delivery of one vessel.
