COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian) deliveres a 77,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp vessel

On April 18, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian) named and delivered a 77,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp vessel “GREEN SEPETIBA” built for BOCOM Leasing.

GREEN SEPETIBA is 225 meters long, 32.26 meters wide, 21 meters deep and has a designed speed of 15 knots. The cargo hold of this type of vessel has good sealing and dryness, which can fully guarantee the quality and safety of pulp transportation.

The vessel has upgraded the “special foldable frame for commercial vehicles” function and added a “one-to-one” temperature monitoring and early warning system for new energy vehicles. It can safely transport new energy vehicles while safely and high-quality transport of imported pulp, helping new energy vehicles to “go to sea in large quantities.”

The pollutant NOx emissions of this series of vessels meet the highest requirements of international conventions (Tier III), the vibration and noise meet the requirements of the Green Ecological Ship Code (GESC) of China Classification Society (CCS) which has come into effect recently, and the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) of the vessels is far more than the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Phase III.

The maiden voyage of “GREEN SEPETIBA” will be put into the East South America route, carrying new energy vehicles and containers and other cargoes from domestic ports to Brazil.
