On October 19th, Dalian shipbuilding Offshore Co., Ltd. named and delivered the jack-up drilling rig “Haiyang Shiyou 945” with a working depth of 400 feet to China Oilfield Services Co.,Ltd.
It is reported that this delivery comes just 30 days after the signing of the contract between the two parties for four platforms. This is the first platform under the contract, and the remaining three will be delivered as scheduled.
Formerly known as “West Titan”, “Haiyang Shiyou 945” adopts the JU2000E design of American F&G Company. It has a length of 70.36 meters, a width of 76.00 meters, a depth of 9.45 meters, an overall length of 55.60 meters for the cantilever beam, an overall length of 166.98 meters for the pile legs, a maximum operating depth of 122 meters, which allows it to drill in most of the world’s oceans，and has been classified by the ABS.
